Prairie Health Ventures is the local affiliate group for Premier Inc., the largest healthcare group purchasing organization in the nation. Premier is a leading healthcare alliance collectively owned by more than 200 independent hospitals and healthcare systems in the United States. Together, they operate or are affiliated with nearly 1,500 hospitals and other healthcare sites. Hospitals, clinics and nursing homes can apply to become affiliate members of Premier Inc. through Prairie Health Ventures . This affiliation is made possible because Prairie Health Ventures is a shareholder in Premier Inc.

Who Is Prairie Health Ventures ?

Our core business is group purchasing, but as our name indicates, we are a network of hospitals and health services working toward achievements in mutually beneficial relationships. Prairie Health Ventures is a network of hospitals and clinics as well as nursing homes and outpatient surgery centers located throughout Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and South Dakota. Our members share a common goal of reducing costs while maintaining the highest levels of patient care. Through our group purchasing efforts, we help our members access some of the best pricing in the industry, and through our networking activities, we help our members keep abreast of all the latest changes in the healthcare industry.
